ZoneLock Privacy Policy

ZoneLock is a heart rate zone training app built by Vishesh Bhardwaj, an independent developer based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

Data we collect

• Email address: used to create and manage your account via Supabase Auth.
• Heart rate data: collected during training sessions from a Bluetooth heart rate monitor. Stored in your account to show session summaries.
• Session data: target zone, duration, average BPM, time in zone. Stored per session in your account.
• Analytics: anonymous usage events (session started, session ended) sent to Google Analytics GA4. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events.
• Bluetooth identifier: used only to connect to your heart rate monitor during a session. Not stored or shared.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the ZoneLock service. Heart rate and session data is stored in your account and is only accessible to you. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Data storage

Your account and session data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS in the United States. Row-level security ensures only you can access your own data.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

Third party services

• Google Analytics GA4: anonymous usage analytics. Privacy policy.
• Sentry: crash reporting. Privacy policy.

Children

ZoneLock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
